Barriqade is an Italian design initiative that transforms used wine barrels (barriques) into bespoke furniture and art pieces. Rooted in a deep appreciation for wine culture, the project celebrates the unique characteristics each barrel carries from its origin—repurposing them into personalized creations that tell stories of craftsmanship, heritage, and sustainability.
Barriqade required a strong visual identity that could express both their artisanal craftsmanship and environmentally conscious philosophy. I created a detailed brand manual that outlines typography choices, colour schemes, and visual guidelines to maintain consistency across all mediums. Alongside this, I am also developing their new website, set to launch soon, which will communicate the story and values behind the brand while providing an intuitive platform to explore their custom creations.
